What happens next

Your report moves through three stages as the response team handles it.

  1. Pending

Your report is logged and waiting for review by the response team.

  2. Received

A responder has acknowledged it and is coordinating the response.

  3. Responded

Action has been taken and the report is marked as responded.

Why report

Your report makes a difference

Incidents that go unreported cannot be responded to. Each report helps responders act now and helps the community stay safer later.

Faster, coordinated response

Reports go straight to the response team with the details and location they need, so less time is lost gathering information.

Evidence that supports action

Photos, exact coordinates and a clear description help responders judge urgency and act on facts, not hearsay.

Safer neighborhoods over time

Every report adds to the incident map and trends that help identify hotspots and plan patrols where they are needed most.

Private and protected

Photo evidence and contact details are visible only to authorized responders, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Before you report

Tips for a useful report

  • Report only when it is safe for you to do so.
  • Be specific: what happened, when, and who or what is involved.
  • Use GPS when you are at the scene; otherwise give a landmark or street.
  • Take clear photos of the scene, not of unrelated personal documents.
  • Use a contact number and email you can be reached at.
